HypnoBirthing (The Mongan Method)
Courses are split into five, 2&1/2 hour sessions. In the first session you will be give a CD and book so you can start practicing relaxation straight away. HypnoBirthing is as must a philosophy as it is a technique, so while you will learn techiques to help you during birth, the most important aspect is to feel confident and positive about birth so you will follow your own instincts and give birth the best and easiest way - YOUR way.

- Relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to eliminate the fear and tension that cause long labour and pain, replacing them with confidence, calm and comfort

- How the mother’s body is designed to work in neuro-muscular harmony with nature throughout labour
- The creation and control of the body’s own natural anesthaesia
- Light touch massage to encourage to release of endorphins
- Deep relaxation during and between uterine surges
- The importance of your care giver and how to keep control of your birth
- The importance of prenatal bonding
Baby Preparation including BabyCalm
At calmbirthing we believe it is important to feel confident about your transition into parenthood. We prepare parents by making them feel empowered to make the right decisions for their baby. By understanding babies needs and how to tune into how your baby communicates, parents will find thy can confidently understand what their baby needs and therefore have a calmer happy baby. Using the unique BabyCalm methods parents will learn how to confidently calm their baby.
